"Glenhaven" is located on the popular rental community of The Shire at West Haven, Davenport, Florida. 

The Shire, Davenport is a new gated vacation resort located in West Haven.  It is surrounded by conservation and is ideally situated within easy reach of Central Florida's popular theme parks and attractions (Disney's® Main Gates are only about a 15 minute drive away). This thoughtfully landscaped resort has some great communal facilities including a large clubhouse that is due to open early 2008, tennis courts, community pool and more.

Being close to great routes such as US27, Interstate 4 and Hwy 192 makes planning those all important days out to the parks, beaches or shopping that much easier. Florida's beautiful coastline is also within easy reach and has many great beaches to offer, from the quiet white sands of St Pete's to the fast pace of Clearwater, and with one of the closest (Cocoa Beach) being just over an hour's drive away, they are definitely well worth a visit.

Although golfers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to golf courses, The Shire at West Haven is only a few minutes drive from the popular Champions Gate Golfing Resort offering some great championship courses to suit all handicaps. A supermarket, shopping strip and some fine restaurants are also located at Champions Gate, and the brand new Posner Park shopping mall has already started (early 2008) opening stores with loads more to come throughout 2008.  Hwy 192, a popular route for visitors, offers an abundance of gift shops, food outlets, helicopter rides, boutiques, crazy golf and a large variety of fun family activities to suit all ages.

NB: Please note that there is on-going construction at The Shire at West Haven - the builders are sympathetic to the needs of holiday-makers and we (the owners) have discounted our rates to reflect this.
